Job Summary
Respond to resident service requests, perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs, and maintain accurate work order documentation. Prepare vacant apartments for turnover, manage grounds and common areas, and coordinate with contractors and inspectors. Participate in the rotating on-call schedule to handle emergency calls, report significant issues, and provide professional after-hours service. Maintain a valid driver's license for parts retrieval and comply with safety policies while working in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) to three (3) years of apartment or general maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Valid driver's license, registration, and insurance
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook and AppFolio
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Compliance with Fair Housing, company policies, and applicable laws
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with apartment maintenance trades
- EPA Type II
- CPO where applicable
