Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician at Hotel Weyanoke, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and preventative care of hotel facilities and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and life-safety systems. You will complete work orders in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors and contractors, perform routine inspections, ensure compliance with fire and life-safety standards, monitor inventory, and support overall safety, appearance, and operation of the property while delivering top-tier guest service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Vocational training or coursework in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems preferred
- Experience in hotel, commercial, or facility maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general building systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency for work order and maintenance tracking systems
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus
