Job Summary
Assist the Main Range Manager in daily operations of the Rio Salado Sportsman's Club ranges by supervising staff, enforcing safety policies, and managing opening/closing procedures. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds while ensuring the range remains clean, stocked, and safe. Schedule employees for adequate staffing, oversee training of Range Safety Officers, and handle customer concerns or emergencies. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, perform minor maintenance, and support membership services. Requires thorough firearms safety knowledge and ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of firearms safety and handling
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop employees
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies and high-pressure situations
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including Arizona summer temperatures
- Ability to operate Club vehicles and equipment safely
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection when required
