Job Summary
Collaborate with the management team to achieve lodge goals, including all administrative tasks for hospitality and F&B programs. Provide direction, feedback, and coaching to develop and lead staff, while acting as the main point of contact for guests. Create and manage staff schedules, track inventory levels, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements. Support injured guests, follow up on feedback, and prioritize multiple projects to guide daily operations. Operate on a rotating schedule with flexibility to take on multiple lodge functions based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, travel and tourism, or equivalent work experience
- Food Safe Certificate
- Occupational First Aid Level 1, or equivalent
- BC Serving-it-Right
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in entry-management
- A willingness to learn and develop skills with on-the-job management training
- A passion for providing high-end hospitality and service experiences
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint
- The ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating seasonal workloads and changing priorities
- The confidence to interact with all levels of the company, including those in remote locations within a hub-and-spoke model
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on a occasional basis
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a regular basis
- This position may require you to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business
- Employees are required to find their own way to and from the lodge
- Travel is required from time-to-time throughout the year for company meetings and workshops
