Job Summary
Assistant Location Manager to support daily transportation operations for New Britain, CT. Responsibilities include assisting the Location Manager with overseeing operations, ensuring home-to-school routes are covered promptly, coordinating with drivers on attendance and performance, investigating customer and client complaints, guiding coaching and development of staff, assisting with reviewing union grievances, dispatch staffing to maintain service levels, auditing athletic trip invoicing, supporting recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards, and aiding in operational planning to deliver service excellence. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
