Job Summary
Support and train the Repack Lead on daily production operations, ensuring safety guidelines, 1st time quality, and cost-effective procedures are followed. Assist with personnel management, including translation support, and coordinate training for new and existing employees. Work hands-on on the floor to cover production workloads, troubleshoot mechanical line equipment, and enter inventory data into the ERP system. Provide back-up supervision for production, safety, throughput, and sanitation while maintaining high standards of work practices. Requires bilingual Spanish/English skills, 6 months of manufacturing experience, and forklift proficiency. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment required
- Prior forklift experience
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees
- Ability to maintain effectiveness (quality) and efficiency (productivity) in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Desired Qualifications
- food/beverage manufacturing preferred
- Experience working with an ERP is preferred
- Experience and mechanical ability related to standard production equipment (i.e., conveyors, HMI's, filling machines) is a plus
