Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the sport/activity sponsor program for secondary students; plan and conduct effective practices, competitions, or meetings; supervise and/or support colleagues or coaches; collaborate with other coaches and demonstrate appropriate behavior among students; ensure compliance with VHSL, district, and school policies; manage scheduling and program organization; communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration. Requires a high school diploma and completion of all VHSL and district coaching requirements (CPR/First Aid/AED, concussion training, and background check). Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential.
