Job Summary
Assist in the operation and maintenance of cagewash equipment; provide basic daily husbandry for mice and rats; conduct breeding, care, and testing of laboratory animals; observe and record signs of animal health and maintain proper living environments; support vivarium operations and assist in animal experiments for institute research; training provided toward AALAS/ALAT certification; on-site full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and option to start between 6:00am-8:00am; relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor in Life Sciences preferred
- AALAS and/or ALAT certification at one of the three levels
- Institute will support certification at the 1st level within 2 years of employment
