Job Summary
As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met, and assisting in inventory management. This includes conducting inventory counts, managing labor costs, and enforcing health policies. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and employees, as well as fostering a friendly atmosphere. Candidates must be able to multitask in a dynamic environment and complete necessary certifications within specified time frames.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
- Must have reliable transportation
- Completion of food safety certification within the first month of employment is required
- Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory
