Job Summary

Lead by example in fostering a positive, values-driven culture while supervising food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation during assigned shifts. Act as the designated person-in-charge of kitchen operations when the Kitchen Manager is absent, skillfully working all stations and guiding team members through service to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings, quality checks, and troubleshooting of operational issues, while documenting shift notes and communicating concerns. Partner with FOH, Private Events, and bar teams to deliver unified service, collaborate on seasonal menu changes and event calendars, and support the Kitchen Manager with administrative tasks including invoices, scheduling, hiring, and inventory management. Monitor food quality, enforce health and safety regulations, and manage equipment maintenance to control costs and minimize waste.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of kitchen leadership, inventory management, training, and development (with teams 20+) in a high-volume ($5M+) restaurant
  • ServSafe PIC/Manager certified
  • Required to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays
  • management work week averages 45-50+ hours per week
