Job Summary
Assist Kitchen Manager/Chef with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, associate engagement and performance management following the corporate training plan. Oversee the inventory and ordering of product and supplies; manage food service programs, production planning, and display to meet profitability goals. Ensure execution of safety, security, quality, and store operations policies. Educate food service associates on marketing programs and initiatives. Prepare action plans to leverage store’s fresh food strengths and address opportunities. Flexible scheduling and leadership responsibilities are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- leadership experience in a food service environment preferred
- availability to work flexible hours (early mornings, weekends, holidays)
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- understanding of safe food handling and storage
