Job Summary
Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities as directed by the head coach. Assess players' skills, monitor athletes during practices and competition, and instruct student athletes in competition strategies and techniques. Motivate students and assist the head coach with supervising athletes throughout the Kachina program. Maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students while keeping the head coach informed of athletic performance. This contract runs from September 28, 2026, to January 23, 2027, with a salary range of $5,499 to $6,111.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills
- Must possess some knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students
- Must be in attendance and prepared to begin work at their assigned work location on the specified days and hours
- Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process
- Employment requires verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment
- A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final candidate

- Some experience as a coach is preferred
