Job Summary
Part-time Assistant Instructor for graduate online psychology courses. Responsible for 1:1 coaching, instructional materials, and facilitating office hours or group study sessions. Responsibilities include building an online learning community, creating engaging resources using Civitas, Outlook, and Kaltura, leading courseroom discussions, planning weekly study sessions, assessing learning with rubrics, maintaining learner records, and checking into the courseroom on weekends. Requires 30-35 hours/week remote with some availability during regular business hours; travel up to 10% and ability to lift minimal weights as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available. Required Qualifications
- Experience with teaching or tutoring
- 1-3 years teaching experience at the graduate level in an online environment (preferred)
- Master's degree in psychology (or enrolled in Doctoral program or completed Doctorate preferred)
- Be enrolled in a Doctoral program or have a completed Doctorate from a regionally accredited College or University in psychology (preferred)
- Ability to assess individual and group learning needs and explain concepts in different ways
