Job Summary
Complete daily installation, deliveries, and warranty calls under lead installer supervision while adhering to Lakeside Surfaces quality standards. Secure all cargo on the truck, execute physical paperwork and Moraware system updates for each job, and troubleshoot on-site issues efficiently. Maintain effective communication, read and understand all install documentation, and uphold a calm, professional demeanor across distribution centers, vendors, roadways, and jobsites. Requires a valid chauffeur's license, DOT medical card, and ability to lift up to 250 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain a clean driving record to be insurable on Lakeside's fleet vehicle insurance
- Maintain a valid chauffeur's license and DOT medical card as is required to drive commercial vehicles
- Ability to drive Lakeside fleet vehicles safely as needed
- Ability to carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 250 pounds with Lead Installer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
- Must be presentable and professional in all work environments
- Must be able to follow all company policies and state laws while operating company vehicles
- Must be able to maintain effective communication to ensure install efficiency and quality
- Must be able to ensure all cargo on truck is 100% secured at all times
- Must be able to accept direction from lead installers
- Must be able to troubleshoot in resolving issues and make judgment calls on site efficiently
- Must be able to work in a controlled and organized work site efficiently
- Must be able to execute all physical paperwork/Moraware system updates accurately for each install, delivery, or warranty service call
- Must be able to keep a calm, professional demeanor at all times
- Must be able to read and understand all paperwork for installs, deliveries, and warranty service calls
