Job Summary
Lead the website design and development effort for ITO, managing end-users through requirements collection, mockup confirmation, and deployment. Develop components using Adobe Experience Manager and oversee contractors for SEO, testing, and analytics. Support the Digital Experience Services Team with external training and skill assessments, while providing data-driven insights for operational decision-making. Prepare annual performance reports, weekly progress updates, and resolve project issues. Perform ad hoc assignments as requested by the supervisor. This fixed-term role supports HKBU's digital transformation mission to enhance application systems and streamline business processes for students, teachers, and administrators.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI development, informational website development, and e-commerce website development
- Must be a self-starter and able to work under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of a content management system (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal)
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua
