Job Summary
Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for infants 6 weeks to 5 years, provide nurturing guidance to support emotional and behavioral development, model core values, maintain a safe, clean classroom, support daily routines and sanitation, collaborate with the teaching team and school leaders, and contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment. Role involves engaging children, supporting parents, and growing within a mission-driven preschool, with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (required)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience: 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Passionate about early childhood education and a nurturing, joyful approach to care
- Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks
- Ability to perform essential classroom functions including lifting up to ~60 lbs
