Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities and supervise children during meals, naptime, and all activities to ensure a safe, positive environment. Prepare and organize age-appropriate learning materials while monitoring each child's progress and development. Assist with the implementation of curriculum and foster a harmonious atmosphere where children and fellow teachers thrive. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/ Spanish
- Professional Development Units / Credits
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center (minimum 6 months)
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Patience
