Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times. Prepare and organize age-appropriate learning materials, supervise children during meals and naptime, and monitor individual progress and development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Starting pay $18.00-$20.00/hour. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/ Spanish
- Professional Development Units / Credits
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center (minimum 6 months)
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Patience
