Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare learning materials, and supervise children during activities, meals, and naptime to ensure a safe environment. Help lead innovative learning activities that promote development, monitor children's progress, and maintain a harmonious atmosphere. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for this Assistant Infant Teacher role at Montessori of Alameda. Starting pay is $18.00-$20.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/ Spanish
- Professional Development Units / Credits
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center (minimum 6 months)
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Patience

- A sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners
