Job Summary
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities that support infant development. Provide attentive and individualized care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Observe and document infants’ developmental progress and communicate observations to the teaching team. Support positive interactions and relationships between infants, families, and staff members. Utilize observational skills to monitor developmental milestones and apply Montessori-inspired practices to foster cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state-required health and safety training
- Current certification in infant/child CPR and first aid
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
