Job Summary
Assistant Individual Events Speech Coach provides instruction in the fundamentals of the specified activity, organizes the program to utilize staff skills, plans and schedules practices during the season (December–March) and optional off-season activities, communicates with students, staff, parents, and the community, collaborates with the Athletic Director on scheduling contests, maintains performance criteria and eligibility, enforces sportsmanship, recommends equipment purchases, supports other school activities, and maintains attendance and safety records; role requires coaching endorsement/authorization and a bachelor’s degree with teaching certificate recommended, with duties including program development and professional growth.
