Assistant in Training

The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position focuses on delivering excellent guest service and driving store performance. Core duties span sales, merchandising, and operations such as greeting guests, recommending merchandise, executing SPG-driven sales presentations, maintaining knowledge of promotions and policies, leading and training teammates, and acting as Store Manager in their absence. The role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager with additional high-level duties while sharing most responsibilities. Responsibilities include recruiting and developing Teammates, leading with showmanship and strong customer service, managing visual merchandising, executing POS procedures, ensuring Loss Prevention practices, completing opening/closing tasks, and supporting overall store goals through collaboration with the Store Manager and Leadership Team. The position emphasizes leadership development, coaching, and maintaining a positive store culture with a focus on sales performance, guest experience, and responsible store operations.
