Assistant in Training

Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager responsibilities include driving sales and guest service, merchandising, and day-to-day store operations. Roles involve greeting Guests, recommending merchandise, executing sales strategies, maintaining knowledge of promotions and returns, and using the Sales Presentation Guide. The position also emphasizes leadership development, Teammate recruiting and training, and acting as Store Manager in their absence. Additional duties cover coaching teammates, leading by example with showmanship, managing visual merchandising and department zones, and collaborating with the Store Manager on education focus, staffing needs, and performance tracking. The role requires adaptability across multiple functions, customer service excellence, and adherence to store policies, Loss Prevention practices, and ethical guidelines. Educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), with related retail experience or training acceptable for consideration.
