Job Summary
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager position involves creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests and performing various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering inquiries, recommending merchandise, maintaining knowledge of promotions, achieving sales goals, assisting in team recruitment and training, maintaining visual merchandise standards, and executing store operations. The role requires strong customer service skills, adaptability to feedback, team leadership abilities, and a demonstrable passion for retail sales and product education. This position is designed for career progression to Assistant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related retail experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
