Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining personal sales-per-hour targets and utilizing the Sales Presentation Guide daily. Recruit new team members, coach current staff on sales and visual standards, and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor displays meet standards, and executing markdowns and pulls. Operate point-of-sale systems, handle exchanges and returns, and maintain a clean store environment while adhering to loss prevention protocols. Complete opening and closing checklists, track inventory, and communicate guest or policy concerns to management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom

- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
