Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend products to fulfill sales goals. Assist the Store Manager in recruiting new Teammates, training staff on sales presentation standards, and leading shifts during the Manager's absence. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and executing markdowns and pulls. Complete opening and closing checklists, handle loss prevention tasks, and process payments and exchanges at the register. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- close vision
- distance vision
- color vision
- peripheral vision
- depth perception
- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
