Job Summary
Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks including cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and store cleaning. Work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership; share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence. Progression from AIT to Assistant Manager adds higher duties while most responsibilities remain shared. Responsibilities emphasize guest service, product knowledge, driving sales, recruitment and team development, leadership presence, visual merchandising, POS execution, loss prevention, and store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
