Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Maintain and share knowledge of sales, promotions, and policies while achieving personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals. Recruit new Teammates, coach them on sales presentations, and lead by example in the absence of the Store Manager. Manage visual merchandise standards, execute zone ownership projects, and ensure the sales floor is consistently sized and displayed. Complete opening and closing checklists, handle Point of Sale procedures, and monitor inventory levels. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Ability to handle all schedule changes in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
- Ability to identify and follow through on all Teammate training needs
- Ability to foresee and anticipate changes in product and act independently to improve overall visual results
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs

- Personal passion to demonstrate, coach, and influence results of denim showmanship and denim fit cards through Teammates and Guests
