Assistant in Training

The Assistant in Training (AIT) progresses to Assistant Manager and shares responsibilities across sales, merchandising and store operations. Primary duties include greeting guests and delivering legendary service, assisting customers with product selection, maintaining knowledge of current promotions and policies, achieving sales goals, and contributing to training and developing Teammates. The role involves leadership activities such as coaching new teammates, participating in recruitment and staffing, and supporting the Store Manager in executing the store’s performance plans. It requires strong customer service, showmanship, product knowledge, and the ability to manage daily tasks, maintain visual standards, and assist in leadership duties in the Store Manager’s absence. Education/experience requirement is a high school diploma or GED or related retail experience or training. The position emphasizes ownership of sales performance, guest relationships, and collaboration with the Leadership Team to drive store success. This role is Full-time and onsite at Barboursville, WV.
