Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, answer questions regarding the store and merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining personal sales-per-hour targets and achieving Buckle business builders including fit appointments and guest loyalty. Recruit new Teammates, coach current staff on daily tasks, and lead by example during shifts when the Store Manager is absent. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring sales floor standards, and executing markdowns and pulls. Operate Point of Sale procedures, handle security risks, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Complete opening and closing checklists, track inventory, and communicate policy violations or guest concerns to leadership. Work a flexible schedule covering mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
