Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions regarding merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales targets while utilizing the Sales Presentation Guide daily. Recruit new teammates, coach current staff on showmanship and fit appointments, and train new hires on accountability and loss prevention standards. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and displaying new freight appropriately. Execute opening and closing checklists, handle POS procedures, and respond to security risks or thefts in accordance with loss prevention guidelines. Assist the Store Manager in recruitment, delegate tasks, and immediately handle emergencies during their absence. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Ability to handle all schedule changes in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
- Ability to identify and follow through on all Teammate training needs
- Ability to foresee and anticipate changes in product and act independently to improve overall visual results
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
