Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, recommend merchandise based on guest needs, and consistently share product knowledge while maintaining sales goals. Own and influence product through zone ownership, execute visual standards, and ensure the sales floor is consistently sized and displayed. Assist the Store Manager in recruiting new teammates, training staff on sales presentations and leadership playbooks, and motivating the team to meet daily targets. Manage opening and closing checklists, handle point-of-sale procedures, and address security risks and loss prevention guidelines. Immediately handle emergencies in the Store Manager's absence and communicate policy violations or guest concerns to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
- Ability to identify and follow through on all Teammate training needs
- Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale ("POS") procedures
- Ability to foresee and anticipate changes in product and act independently to improve overall visual results
- Ability to recognize recruiting opportunities by utilizing Jobs & Careers cards, email referrals and Teammate Recommend
