Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, answer questions regarding the store and merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Maintain and share knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices while achieving personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals. Recruit new teammates, coach and motivate existing staff, and assist the Store Manager in recruitment and training. Own and influence product through zone ownership, confirm teammates follow visual standards, and ensure the sales floor is consistently sized and displayed. Execute Point of Sale procedures, handle calls from Corporate Office, and maintain a clean, organized store. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and immediately handle emergencies in the Store Manager's absence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- close vision

- depth perception
- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
