Job Summary
Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager responsibilities include driving sales and guest service, merchandising, and daily store operations. The role involves leading and training Teammates, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining knowledge of promotions and policies, performing leadership actions in the Manager's absence, and ensuring excellent customer service across the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area. The position emphasizes showing showmanship in product education, applying SPG guidance, achieving sales goals, and coordinating with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to support store performance and team development. The role progression from AIT to Assistant Manager includes higher-level duties and increased leadership responsibilities. Essential duties cover sales generation, guest service, teammate recruitment/training, visual merchandising, and operations, including POS procedures, loss prevention, inventory management, and policy adherence. Education/Experience requirement includes a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 months related retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
