Job Summary
Greet guests, answer product questions, and recommend merchandise to drive sales and achieve personal sales-per-hour goals. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and executing markdowns and pulls. Recruit new team members, conduct training sessions, and coach staff on sales presentations and loss prevention protocols. Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, delegating tasks, and handling emergencies during their absence. Maintain a clean store, process payments and returns, and complete opening and closing checklists. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
