Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, answer questions regarding the store and merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales targets while utilizing the Sales Presentation Guide daily. Recruit new teammates, coach current staff on sales presentation standards, and lead by example in the absence of the Store Manager. Manage visual merchandise by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and displaying new freight appropriately. Execute POS procedures, handle exchanges and returns, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Ability to handle all schedule changes in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
- Ability to identify and follow through on all Teammate training needs
- Ability to foresee and anticipate changes in product and act independently to improve overall visual results
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to travel and cover other Stores within District based on business needs
- Ability to handle all schedule changes in a positive and professional manner

- Personal passion to demonstrate, coach, and influence results of denim showmanship and denim fit cards through Teammates and Guests
- Personal passion to ask business driven and showmanship questions often to Manager, Team Leaders and all Teammates
- Coachable; consistently welcomes feedback from Manager to improve sales presentations
- Motivated to self-educate themselves on all company tools (videos, pieces, books) and ability to share this information with others
- Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
