Job Summary
Direct and supervise maintenance crews performing daily operations on greens, tees, fairways, and practice facilities. Instruct equipment operators on machinery care, assist with pesticide application calibration, and support irrigation system maintenance. Manage maintenance equipment and golf car fleet while monitoring purchasing policy compliance. Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding agronomy staff, and coordinate scheduling and staff assignments. Maintain a professional appearance and service-oriented demeanor when interacting with members and guests. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to support seasonal priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate local machinery when properly licensed
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of golf course maintenance experience, apprenticeship, or assistant-level experience
