Assistant In Training (AIT)

Perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance under supervision, including daily course preparation, mowing, equipment operation, water management, chemical applications, and construction projects. This role exposes individuals to all aspects of turf grass maintenance while gradually incorporating responsibility to prepare for the Assistant Superintendent position. The position requires at least one year of golf course maintenance experience and a degree or certificate in turf grass management, or motivation to acquire one. Compensation is $18 to $19 per hour with overtime available. Heritage Club, located in Mason, Ohio, has recently completed master plan projects including green expansion and a complete bunker rebuild, and is currently in the design stages of a full property irrigation system replacement.
