Job Summary

Assistant HR Manager, Industrial Relations role focuses on advising managers and resolving employee relations issues, managing disciplinary actions and domestic inquiries, supporting investigations, implementing employee relations programs, maintaining relations with industry players and authorities, staying current with HR legislation, and overseeing hiring and HRIS/payroll activities. Requires at least 5 years in industrial relations, HR accreditation, strong knowledge of Malaysia’s Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations 1967, and proven experience in disciplinary processes and court-related HR matters. Strong communication, multitasking, and proactive mindset are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity with specialization in Industrial Relations
  • Tertiary education with HR professional accreditation
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysia's Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations 1967
  • Experience in conducting domestic inquiry sessions and report writing; experience in attending cases at court level is an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills, tactful with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
