Job Summary
Assistant HR Manager, Employee Relations in Manila leads ER case management and HR advisory across Philippine labour law. Partners with DOLE on regulatory matters, coaches managers through ER processes, and ensures legally sound decisions aligned with Labor Code and company policy. Serves as a trusted advisor within a multinational, matrixed environment, supports HR projects with an ER/compliance lens, and stays current on local employment law developments. Hybrid work model (2-3 days in office) described in the role guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-8 years progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labour law including the Labor Code and DOLE regulations
- Experience managing ER cases including investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters
- Experience engaging with DOLE on labour inspections, complaints, and regulatory compliance
- Coaching/managing managers through ER processes and procedures
- Experience collaborating with Legal functions and external counsel on ER matters (preferred)
- HR advisory experience in a multinational, matrixed environment
- Experience with HR technology/case management tools (advantage)
- Relevant HR or employment law certification (e.g., CHRP) preferred
