Job Summary
Support the House Manager in delivering housekeeping functions, ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the centre. Take responsibility for restocking chemicals and cleaning materials, while organizing a deep cleaning schedule. Supervise the house team when required and assist with implementing health and safety controls such as COSHH regulations. Provide IT support for key house functions including budget preparation and rota management. Occasionally assist other departments as needed. Participate fully in the life and ministry of the Lendrick Muir Centre and the wider Scripture Union Scotland organization. This part-time, fixed-term role begins in October 2026 with the possibility of becoming permanent after one year.
Required Qualifications
- experience in the hospitality industry
- understand safe working practices in a commercial context
- ability to communicate calmly and effectively using both verbal and written methods
