Job Summary
Educate student athletes with the basic skills necessary to compete in track events while fostering their personal, social, and intellectual development. Work closely with the Athletic Director, Head coach, and administration to tailor coaching to individual student needs and abilities. Maintain a positive learning environment through daily instruction, practice, and event coverage. Requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, lift heavy objects, and work indoors and outdoors year-round in noisy, crowded settings. Full-time annual contract position based in USD 321.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
- The ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials
- The ability to stoop, bend and/or reach
- The ability to work indoors and outdoors year round
- The ability to work in noisy and crowded environments
- Regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job
- The ability to educate the student athletes with the basic skills necessary to compete in their sport
