Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach

Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in coaching girls basketball at Fowler High School, instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training to promote individual and team success, and foster good sportsmanship and character. Responsibilities include interpreting and implementing CHSAA and school rules, supervising athletes and facilities, maintaining equipment and training spaces, and collaborating with the Head Coach, Athletic Director, Principal, and Superintendent. Requires coaching/playing experience, willingness to learn under direction, and adherence to district and CHSAA certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching and/or playing experience in Basketball
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and a willingness to learn and adapt at the direction of the Head Coach
- Serve as an appropriate role model for student-athletes through his/her instructions and actions
- Meet all background and certification requirements of the District and CHSAA
