Job Summary
Oversee daily gym operations, support staff training in biomechanics and program design, and deliver personalized coaching tailored to client needs. Coordinate group fitness classes while enforcing safety protocols for first aid, CPR, AED, and manual handling. Promote membership packages and personal training services to drive sales, maintaining injury prevention strategies rooted in anatomy and heavy lifting safety. Assist the Gym Director in fostering a motivating environment through strong client rapport and exceptional customer service. This role requires certified CPR/AED and manual handling skills, with a focus on health and wellness initiatives within The Little Gym of Eagan's whole-child development community.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or fitness industry roles with a focus on client motivation and program design
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, and body mechanics
- Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and manual handling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or group fitness classes effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for building client rapport and delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day
