Job Summary
Assists the Manager in operating a Supervised Apartment Program/Group Home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing direct care, training in social living skills, medication management, crisis intervention, and coordination of services; responsible for supervising staff, scheduling, records, and ensuring licensure standards while engaging with residents’ families and implementing Individual Service Plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences
- considerable experience in residential treatment programs for intellectually disabled/developmentally disabled adults
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Certification in First Aid/CPR
- Training in Therapeutic Options (THEROPS) and Medication Management
