Job Summary
Manage and lead one of the busiest grocery teams by overseeing merchandising, inventory controls, product quality, and daily deliveries. Coordinate sales through planning, direction, and goal setting while assisting in hiring, training, and developing staff. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines across the Grocery department. Prioritize multiple tasks including heavy lifting and repetitive physical movements required for store operations. Work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to support business needs. Join a fast-paced environment focused on helping customers make healthy food choices.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 1-3 years retail management experience
- Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Walking up to 3 miles per 8 hours
- Strong good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to take and give direction

- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Must vertically transfer milk trays weighing up to 60 lbs., from 9" to 62", for up to 25 hours
- Must vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 50 lbs., from 5" to 34", for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
- Repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending to access a point 5 inches from the floor for up to 30 hours is expected
