Job Summary
Manage and lead one of the busiest grocery teams by overseeing merchandising, ordering, and inventory controls to maximize productivity and profit. Coordinate daily sales through planning, direction, and goal setting while assisting in hiring, training, and developing staff. Ensure strict execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines across the department. Support the Grocery Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and brainstorming strategies for product quality. This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands such as lifting up to 60 lbs. and squatting for extended periods. Applicants need 1-3 years of retail management experience and strong analytical skills to handle multiple tasks. Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 1-3 years retail management experience
- Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays
- Walking up to 3 miles per 8 hours

- Must vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 50 lbs., from 5" to 34", for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance
- Repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending to access a point 5 inches from the floor for up to 30 hours is expected
