Assistant Grocery Manager

Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department, including inventory management, merchandising, and employee supervision to achieve sales and profitability goals. Assist the Grocery Manager with staffing, scheduling, and training new team members while providing daily coaching and feedback. Monitor product movement, execute promotional programs, and ensure proper stocking, rotation, and display standards. Serve as the acting department leader during the Grocery Manager's absence and resolve customer concerns promptly. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and support shrink reduction efforts through inventory controls and loss prevention initiatives.
