Job Summary
Oversee daily Grocery Department operations with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness. Deliver prompt, knowledgeable service while resolving concerns and ensuring shelves are clean, full, and merchandised to company standards. Execute planograms, promotional sets, and seasonal transitions; manage ordering, inventory levels, and product rotation to maintain accurate pricing and strong in-stock conditions. Monitor shrink, implement waste reduction procedures, and ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards. Hire, train, coach, and schedule associates to foster a positive team environment while analyzing sales and labor data to drive results. Requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
