Job Summary
Facilitate sales, assist with merchandise, and operate the POS system while managing handicap and tee sheet applications. Process customer reservations, coordinate individual, group, and tournament play, and oversee the Outside Guest Services department. Provide memorable guest experiences by expediting check-in, monitoring pace of play, and ensuring safety and course markings. Produce daily reports on rounds and sales, and assume Golf Operations Manager duties during their absence. Work ranger, starter, or golf shop shifts to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems
- Must have strong customer/guest orientation skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be dependable
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years of golf industry experience
- College degree (PGM)
- PGA Member or Apprentice
